'Extraordinary' workshop set

TERRE HAUTE -- The Wabash Valley Human Resources Association will host a workshop, "From Ordinary to Extraordinary," geared for leaders in the community concerned with getting the most from their workforce.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 10, at the Ohio Building. Ed Robinson, CEO of Robinson Performance Group, Inc., CPA, CSP, NSA IFPP and 20 years of experience in growth strategies and leadership, will be at the event.

Robinson will facilitate and lead the participants in learning how to implement strategies to transform individuals into professionals, managers into leaders and leaders into Rainmakers. He teachers individuals how to dance in the rain through all challenges.

"We are pleased to offer this valuable opportunity by bringing a nationally known professional to the business leaders in the Wabash Valley," professional development director of the Wabash Valley Human Resources Association Dawn Forsman said.

"It is a topic that many business professionals will have an interest in and we are pleased to host this event," President of the Wabash Valley Human Resources Association Aaron Garafola said.

The seminar is sponsored by Ivy Tech Community College -- Wabash Valley and MJ Insurance.
