Choral dinner a success
To the Editor:
The first fall spaghetti dinner, sponsored by the Knights Choral Boosters, was a success.
Thank you to the parents, guardians, students, alumni, friends and family members who attended.
Thank you to the students and adults who decorated the tables, sold and took tickets, and those who prepared as well as served the food.
A very special thank you to the North Clay Middle School sixth-grade parents and students who volunteered to serve and clean up.
McDonald's Corporation provided a generous donation of supplies. The verbal and written comments are appreciated and suggestions will be considered for our next community dinner.
Best of all was the performance of the choirs. The North Clay Middle School seventh- and eighth-grade choir as well as the Northview High School Symphonic Choir are very entertaining with their beautiful voices.
Special kudos to soloist Gwyn Snow. Her voice is first class.
And of course, the Knight Singes Choir who continue to inspire all who love vocal music.
Finally, we are a fortunate community to have choir directors Kristina Waugh (Northview) and Erich Kendall (North Clay) who are dedicated to a quality vocal program.
Thank you Mrs. Waugh and Mr. Kendall for your hard work.
We look forward to the Christmas Spectacular in December.
