STAUNTON -- The gymnasium floor of Staunton Elementary School was a sea of blue Wednesday.

Students dressed up in their best Indianapolis Colts' gear to meet team mascot Blue and his agent, Kat Taylor, as the duo conducted "Take P.R.I.D.E. In Yourself," a convocation.

Taylor told The Brazil Times Staunton Elementary was the 42nd school they have visited this year. They plan to visit 75.

This is the fourth year Blue and his agent have traveled around the state conducting the event.

The 45-minute program was based on physical fitness, respect for yourself and others, intelligent decision making (i.e., saying no to drugs, alcohol and tobacco), diet and education.

Blue also performed magic tricks with the help of students and teachers as well as danced for the crowd. He and Kat also asked the students many questions, such as what they wanted to be when they grew up, and more.

The convocation was co-sponsored by Arby's.
