The 10:15 a.m. concert is the JTCB's oldest continuous event with the first time being on Nov. 11, 1918, at the courthouse when word of the Armistice ending The Great War, later known as World War I, reached Clay County.
Following tradition, the JTCB will perform George M. Cohan's war song, "Over There!", playing from the original sheet music purchased in 1918.
Marches by Lt. Commander John Philip Sousa, who served as director of Navy Bands at Great Lakes during World War I, will be featured.
Navy marches by Fred Jewell, Henry Fillmore and Karl L. King are on the play list.
The performance will coincide with the annual Veterans' Day ceremonies by Clay County Veterans' organizations.
The public is invited to join in honoring and remembering veterans of all American history and visit the various monuments recognizing Clay County veterans at the courthouse.
