The following is a list of upcoming events provided to The Brazil Times:

'Arthritis fitness'

Fun Time Fitness and Aquatics in Brazil will offer "Arthritis Fitness," today at 6 p.m.

The workshop will be led by a certified aquatic fitness instructor trained by the Arthritis Foundation.

No reservation is necessary, but pool space is limited.

Craft Class

The Brazil Public Library will have a painted light bulb Christmas ornament craft class at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 9.

Cost for the event is $5 and those interested in attending must pre-register and pre-pay due to limited space. For more information, call 448-1981.

School program

Van Buren Elementary School will conduct a Veteran's Day program Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 9-10:30 a.m., in the elementary gymnasium.

Annual Meeting

The Clay County 4-H Council meeting will take place at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 10, at the 4-H Fairgrounds exhibit hall.

All are welcome to attend.

Musical

The Clay County Community Theatre will present "The Princess and the Pizza," Nov. 11-13, at the Lark Theatre, 8 E. National Ave., Brazil. Showtimes are 7 p.m., Nov. 11-12, and 2 p.m., Nov. 13.

Tickets for the musical cost $5 for adults and $3 for children.

Tree Festival

The St. Vincent Clay Hospital Foundation will conduct the seventh "Festival of Trees," from 6:30-9:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 13.

The event will take place at the Clay County 4-H Fairgrounds.

Work Session

A work session for the Brazil Common Council will take place at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 17, at the Brazil City Hall Council Chambers. The animal ordinance will be discussed at the meeting and the public is welcome to attend.
