The American Legion Riders will sponsor a chili cook off Sunday, at the American Legion Post No. 2, 1015 Forest Ave., Brazil.
The event is open to the public.
Registration will be from 11 a.m.-noon. Cost is $5 for those entering chili.
Judging will take place at 1 p.m. Judges will include Brazil Mayor Ann Bradshaw, Brazil City Fire Chief Jim Smith and Brazil City Police Department Chief Larry Pierce, among others.
A bowl of chili will cost $2 and bowls will be served until the chili runs out.
All money collected from the cook off will benefit the Indiana Veterans Home.
