TERRE HAUTE -- Wabash Valley Harley-Davidson, Inc., will host a Christmas Open House from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 4.

Free pictures with Santa Claus will be available from 1-5 p.m., with a donation of a book for "Books for Youth," or a canned good item for Catholic Charities.

In connection with the Indianapolis Colts and the Department of Child Services, Wabash Valley Harley-Davidson is collecting books for "Books for Youth," a program designed to supply foster youth and young adults with age-appropriate reading materials and backpacks.

The local motorcycle shop will be collecting both books and canned good items through the month of December.

Drop boxes will be available during the Christmas Open House and remain in the store through the end of the month.

The free pictures with Santa will be offered as an incentive for the public to donate to both organizations Saturday, Dec. 4.
