Crisis intervention network slated to host fundraiser

Wednesday, November 24, 2010

TERRE HAUTE -- Lifeline/211 has provided crisis intervention and information/referral services to Wabash Valley residents for more than 35 years.

Due to fiscal constraints and limited funding, Lifeline/211 is currently experiencing financial difficulty.

The non-profit is in need of support.

Those interested may call the office by dialing 211 or 812-238-2620 or contact a Lifeline/211 board member to purchase a raffle ticket.

A cash prize of $500 is being offered. Tickets are $5 each. The winning ticket will be drawn Wednesday, Dec. 1. In addition, those interested may visit Baesler's Market and "round up their change for Lifeline/211," Wednesday, Dec. 1.

All proceeds will be donated to the agency.

Direct donations will also be accepted by mailing a tax-deductible contribution to Lifeline/211 Call Center, PO Box 9582, Terre Haute, Ind., 47808.
