Nine-year-old Logan Dorn, Brazil, (above) harvested an 8-point buck during opening weekend of shotgun season. This was his first buck. He is the son of Jason and Stephanie Dorn. Seven-year-old Nick Messmer (below) shot this deer in Clay County with a .410, having only a single iron sight. His father, Paul Messmer, ranged the deer at 67-yards prior to the shot.
