Remember that the Community Food Pantry is open in the church's basement from 3-5 p.m., on the last Wednesday afternoon of each month.

The next Food Pantry day will be Dec. 22.

Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome. We appreciate the support of all the churches, schools, civic organizations, and individuals who help make this needed outreach a success. Special thanks to Staunton First Christian Church for the joint Thanksgiving service offering that was given to the Pantry.

Please keep praying for everyone who is battling illness, as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families.

Also remember in prayer all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals, and those who have lost loved ones. Go out of your way to be kind to someone, and pray for everyone.

And in all the hectic hurrying of the holiday season, be sure to take time to remember that our Savior's Birth is the true reason for celebrating Christmas.
