The YMCA of Clay County, 225 E. Kruzan St., Brazil, and the Paris Community YMCA, 109 E. Madison St., Paris, Ill., are offering much needed assistance to those affected by the closing of the Riverbank Family and Fitness Center.

Current members of these facilities will find their membership honored at no additional charge at the YMCA of Clay County or the Paris Community YMCA now through Dec. 31, 2010.

"We think the members and families of these facilities will discover the many beneficial health and wellness programs and services the Y offers our community," YMCA of Clay County CEO Deborah Plummer said. "Through this offer, we hope to reach out and engage many individuals in our life changing work in Terre Haute."

The YMCA of Clay County and the Paris Community YMCA are cause-driven organizations that are for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

For more information, call the Clay County facility at 442-6761 or the Paris facility at 1-217-466-9622.
