Here comes Santa!

Santa Claus has been one busy fellow lately. He made his first appearance of the season in Clay County at the Christmas In The Park Parade Friday, Nov. 26, and has plenty of scheduled stops for children planned before Christmas. [Order this photo]
Santa Claus has been very busy so far this month and he has plenty of other stops to make in Clay County before Christmas.

The following is a list of visits Santa has planned for Clay County during the next few days, as provided to The Brazil Times:

* He will visit the Reelsville Volunteer Fire Department for its monthly breakfast from 7-11 a.m., Saturday,

* He will visit Riddell National Bank's Main Branch, 1 E. National Ave., Brazil, for free photographs, from 9:30-11:30 a.m., Saturday. A choir will perform during the event and free cookies and punch will be available,

* He will visit Sandy's Good Books, 1520 W. Whiterock Rd., Brazil, for photographs, Saturday, from 1-3 p.m. Small gifts will be available for all children. Call 443-6007 for more information,

* He has taken up residence in Forest Park and is available for photographs with children from 6-8 p.m., Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, until Thursday, Dec. 23. Pictures with Santa during these events cost $5,

* He will visit Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 E. National Ave., Brazil, from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday, to have photographs taken. All pictures may be picked up Friday, Dec. 17, from 9 a.m.-6 p.m., or Saturday, Dec. 18, from 9 a.m.-noon, and

* He will visit the American Legion Post 2, 1015 S. Forest Ave., Brazil, for another photograph session, from 2-4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 18. Parents interested in having a picture of their child taken with Santa should bring a camera. Cookies and punch will be available and children will have the opportunity to tell Santa what they want for Christmas. For more information, call 812-236-1897.
