The following is a list of area events scheduled to take place today, Sunday and Monday as provided to The Brazil Times:

Holiday Schedule

During the week of Christmas and New Year's, The Brazil Times will change its weekly paper schedule.

There will be a newspaper published Tuesday, Dec. 21.

There will be no newspaper published Christmas Day (Saturday, Dec. 25), Tuesday, Dec. 28, and New Year's Day (Saturday, Jan. 1).

In addition, The Brazil Times' office will be closed Friday, Dec. 24, and Friday, Dec. 31.

Christmas Spectacular

The Northview High School band program will conduct its annual Christmas Spectacular today and Sunday.

Cost for seats is $6.

Show dates and times are as follows:

* Today, 7 p.m., and

* Sunday, 2 p.m.

Santa's Coming To Town

Santa Claus will make a pit stop at the American Legion Post 2, 1015 S. Forest Ave., Brazil, today, from 2-4 p.m.

Cookies and punch will be available and children may tell Santa what they want for Christmas.

Parents interested in having a picture taken with Santa Claus should bring a camera.

Anyone that brings in canned goods and more for the American Legion Auxiliary Food Drive will receive a chance for a turkey.

'It's A Wonderful Life'

The Crosley Radio Players will present "It's A Wonderful Life," at 2 p.m., Sunday, at the Scottish Rite Lodge, located at 8th and Ohio Streets, Terre Haute.

Cost to attend the radio recreation is $5 for adults. Children will be admitted free with a paid adult.

'Come To The Manger'

The Community Theatre of Clay County Singers will present "Come to the Manger," at 6 p.m., Sunday, at the Brazil Nazarene Church, 1002 E. National Ave.

The performance will benefit the Clay County Emergency Food Pantry.

All attendees are asked to donate non-perishable food items. In addition, a freewill offering will be taken after the performance, with the collection also being donated to the food pantry.
