Cub scout pack 45 invaded city hall for a special meeting on Monday, Oct.25.

Mayor Ann Bradshaw welcomed the scouts and encouraged each scout to one day become Mayor. Each scout was allowed to slide into the Mayor's offical chair for a minute.

The Mayor showed the scouts where the city laws and ordinances are kept before posing for a group photo with the scouts and Assistant scout leader Joe Zimmerman.

They were then led to the fire station to learn how the fire truck and equipment works. The visit to the fire station was shortened when a real live alarm came in and two of the fire trucks with firefighters had to respond.

Mayor Bradshaw along with officers Mace and Stemm of the Brazil Police Department gave the scouts a tour of the police station and topped off the evening with finger printing kits. Each scout was fingerprinted and presented a copy of their prints to take home.

Cub Scout Pack 45, Scout Leader Jeff Pund and Assistant Scout Leaders Rich White and Joe Zimmerman thanked the Mayor for the fun filled and educational evening.

Any boy age seven or older is invited to join Cub Scouts.
