The following is a list of upcoming events and reminders scheduled for today, Saturday, Sunday and Monday as provided to The Brazil Times:

Holiday Schedule

During the week of New Year's, The Brazil Times will change its weekly paper schedule.

There will be no newspaper published Tuesday or New Year's Day (Saturday, Jan. 1). In addition, there will be no newspaper published Christmas Day.

The Brazil Times' office will be closed today, and Friday, Dec. 31, in observance of Christmas and New Year's Day.

Closed For The Holidays

The Crisis Pregnancy Center of Brazil will be closed beginning today until Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011, but will reopen Monday, Jan. 3.

The option line (1-800-395-4357) will take all calls during the break.

Holiday Hours For Post Office

The Brazil Post Office will be closing at noon, today, in observance of Christmas.

In addition, the office will be closing at 3 p.m., New Year's Eve, Friday, Dec. 31.

City Hall Closed For The Holidays

In observance of Christmas, Brazil City Hall will be closed today.

City Hall will reopen Monday, Dec. 27, for regular business hours.

The City Sanitation Department will operate normal business hours.

Museum Holiday Closing

The Clay County Historical Society has closed the doors of the museum for the winter months.

The museum will re-open March 14.

There will be no membership meeting until March 7, 2011.

Genealogical Society Holiday Closing

The Clay County Genealogical Society will be closed for the Christmas and New Year holidays.

The organization will reopen at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011.
