Daughter, sister, mother and grandmother, Pat was born May 13, 1942, in Brazil, as the daughter of Harold and Mary Jo Roberts Hite.
She graduated from Staunton High School with the class of 1960.
Immediately following graduation, she joined the U.S. Air Force.
She served active duty at Wiesbaden Air Base, Germany, for three years, five months and 26 days.
While she is a native of Brazil, she lived in many parts of the U.S., but resided in Baltimore, Md., for 34 years.
She was a stenographic specialist and worked for NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland for many years.
She had much pride in owning her home and taking care of it. She was very loyal and devoted to both her daughters and enjoyed her furry friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Harold Hite, sister Janice Hite, and brother Jim Hite.
She is survived by her devoted mother Mary Jo Hite, Kaufman, Texas, loving daughters Tammy Jo Rothrock (Jeff), Brazil, and Pam Paulis (Jeff), Pasadena, Md., nephew Gregory James Hite (Kumiko), San Jose, Calif., uncle Wylie Roberts (Adeline), Kaufman, Texas, aunt Margaret Rozelle, Fishers, Ind., four grandchildren, and many cousins in Texas.
Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 30, at Moore Funeral Home, with funeral services at 1 p.m., Thursday.
Following cremation, her ashes will be buried at Union Cemetery.
