She and her late husband were owners of El-War Be Kennels and later, Brazil Casket Company until their retirement in 1984.
She was born Jan. 18, 1919, in Brazil, to Walter "Ray" Burns and Charlotte Nichols Burns.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years Everett Lee Wyndham, whom she married Oct. 1, 1938, died Feb. 10, 1985.
Survivors include son Ward L. Wyndham and his wife Tina, grandchildren Kira L., Paul L. and Roger L. Wyndham, all of Bloomingdale, and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, her brother Thomas George Burns and her sister Katherine Strassler.
She was a member of Friendly Grove Baptist Church in Rosedale, where she and her husband Rev. Everett Wyndham ministered for several years.
After her retirement, she took pets to nursing homes and enjoyed camping at Horseshoe Lake and Thousand Trails in St. Bernice.
Services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard St., Rockville, with Rev. Warren Whittington officiating.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Summit Lawn Cemetery in Brazil.
