Place focus on domestic issues
To the Editor:
This is to the two people who have opposite opinions about our military.
To the gentleman, I'm sure you make a valid point about the military, but sarcasm isn't necessary to make your point.
She has a right to her opinion.
And to the lady with ongoing tensions in this country and around the world, we need a strong military.
I hope we don't have to continuously use it, but with a niece and nephew serving, I think we can focus on other matters, such as rising taxes and cost of living, the government taking away our personal freedoms and job losses in one form or another.
All I ask is that you set aside your differences on the military for now and focus on our domestic matters.
If your personal freedoms are that important to you as they are to me, you'll bring your concerns to the congressman and senators.
Thanks for your attention,
Charles Nevins II,
