The survey will gauge residents' awareness and perceptions of United Way of the Wabash Valley, perceptions of local issues and community priorities.
Residents of Clay, Parke, Sullivan, Vermillion and Vigo counties in Indiana, and Clark County in Illinois will be randomly selected to participate in a telephone-based community survey, taking only a few minutes to complete, between 6-9 p.m.
"By conducting this community survey, we will be able to discover which issues are most important to residents in our community, in order for United Way of the Wabash Valley to address the issues and make the greatest impact in our community," United Way of the Wabash Valley Executive Director Troy Fears said. "We hope that residents will share a few minutes of their time to give us their thoughts and opinions, in order to better serve our community."
In an effort to acquire a comprehensive, cross-section of residents' opinions, a total of 645 telephone surveys will be completed with area residents. These random survey results will yield statistical outcomes that will help identify community priorities and guide the planning and future direction of United Way of the Wabash Valley.
