School Board to meet Thursday

The Clay Community Schools Corporation Board of Trustees will conduct its regular meeting Thursday, in the media center at North Clay Middle School.

The meeting will follow a Board of Finance meeting, scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

During the Board of Finance meeting, an election of officers and a report on investments will take place.

The school board will tackle the following items:

* School Board Policy No. 2205 -- Administrator Contracts and Employment Agreements (second reading),

* School Board Policy No. 3450 -- Expenditures (second reading),

* Superintendent's report,

* Resolution for interest deposits,

* Resolution to transfer appropriations,

* 2011 Transfer of Funds Certificate,

* Resolution to prepay claims,

* Resolution to transfer from one fund to another,

* Request to join Hospital Purchasing Service (HPS),

* Creating Positive Relationships (CPR) Program,

* Patron donation to LEAAP Center,

* Doctoral Program compensation, and

* VEVA Memorandum of understanding.

Those attending the meeting will have the opportunity to speak to board members as well.
