The following is a list of upcoming events provided to The Brazil Times:

Available

The 2011 Clay County Aspiring Artist Calendars are currently available.

Those interested in purchasing a calendar should call The Brazil Times at 446-2216, Monday-Friday, from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

The calendars cost $5.

On Television

The Clay Community School Board of Trustees tape from the Jan. 13, 2011, meeting will be aired at the following times on local cable Channel 2:

* Tuesday, at 9 a.m., and 7 p.m., and

* Wednesday, at 9 a.m., and 7 p.m.

Meeting Scheduled

The Clay County Redevelopment Committee has scheduled its organizational meeting for 6 p.m., Wednesday, at the Clay County Commissioner's Courtroom in the Clay County Courthouse.

The committee's regular meeting will immediately follow.

Yo-Yo Quilting

"Yo-Yo Quilting -- Make and Take Mug Coaster," will be presented at 6 p.m., Thursday, at the Brazil Public Library.

No sewing experience is necessary to attend the class. Cost to attend is $5 and those interested in taking part must pre-register and pre-pay for the program.

Assessment Meeting

St. Vincent Health, along with representatives from Indiana State University, will present findings from a Community Needs Assessment survey at noon, Friday, at the Medical Office Building Community Room.

Lunch will be served.

Food Pantry Open

The Wesley Chapel Food Bank will be open Saturday, from 9 a.m.-noon.

Church Food Giveaway

The Church of Our Lord Jesus, 708 E. Hendrix St., Brazil, will conduct a food giveaway Saturday, Jan. 22, from 1-3 p.m.

Echoes

The Wabash Valley will be treated to the experience of the national touring Pink Floyd Tribute band, Echoes of Pompeii, at the Scottish Rite Lodge, located at 8th and Ohio streets, Saturday.

The concert is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $15. For more information, call 812-264-9784.

Bridal Show Scheduled

The seventh Brazil Times-Banner Graphic Bridal Show will take place from 1-4 p.m., Sunday, at Traditions Banquet Hall, 105 E. National Ave., Brazil.

3-D Snowflakes!

Those interested are invited to the Brazil Public Library to make their own Winter Wonderland Thursday, Jan. 27.

Adults and children are welcome to come and make giant 3-D snowflakes.

Supplies will be available 6-7:30 p.m.

The program is free to the public.

Bald Eagle Day Scheduled

Duke Energy will conduct its 16th Bald Eagle Viewing Day Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at its Cayuga electric power plant along the Wabash River just north of Terre Haute.

The event is free and open to the public and will take place from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Reservations are not necessary.

Indoor Yard Sale

Lady Knights of Annunciation Church are having an Indoor Yard Sale at Kennedy's Crossing Bingo Hall, Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m., to benefit church and community service projects.

Breakfast and lunch will be available. Tables are $10 each for vendors.
