The Brazil Times is looking for a person interested in providing volunteer commentating and videography for girls' and boys' basketball games this season.

United Day for United Way, which had been scheduled to take place today, has been postponed due to cold weather temperatures forecast for the date.
The event has been rescheduled for 6 a.m.-6 p.m., Friday, Jan. 28.

The Clay County Historical Society has closed the doors of the museum for the winter months.
The museum will re-open March 14.
There will be no membership meeting until March 7, 2011.

Coffee, Club Talk
The Rotary Club of Brazil will conduct its monthly Coffee and Club Talk from 6-7 p.m., today, at the Brazil Coffee Company, 533 E. National Ave., Brazil.
This month's topic is, "Family, Friendships and Fun," and will be presented by Past President Susan Thomas.
Clay County Health Beginnings CHIP (Coronary Health Improvement Program) -- a Lifestyle Medicine Program -- will be offered by the Maple Center for Integrative Health at the Staunton Community Center.
Free information sessions will take place from 6:30-7:30 p.m., today and Tuesday, at Grace Chapel, 2104 W. United States 40, Brazil.
The event will be offered Tuesday and Friday evenings beginning Monday, Feb. 7, for two weeks and then the four following Tuesdays, at the Staunton Community Center, from 5-7 p.m., for eight weeks.
Cost is $145 per person or $210 per couple.

The Wabash Valley will be treated to the experience of the national touring Pink Floyd tribute band, Echoes of Pompeii, at the Scottish Rite Lodge, located at 8th and Ohio streets, Saturday.

Bridal Show Set For Sunday
The seventh Brazil Times-Banner Graphic Bridal Show will take place from 1-4 p.m., Sunday, at Traditions Banquet Hall, 105 E. National Ave., Brazil.
The Clay County Chamber of Commerce will conduct its monthly membership meeting at noon, Tuesday, Jan. 25, at the St. Vincent Clay Hospital.
The speaker for the meeting is Kelly Services representative Fredia Haviland, who will discuss employment trends.
Cost is $7 for members and $10 for non-members.

'Salute To Disney'
The Community Theatre of Clay County will be performing "A Salute to Disney," Jan. 28-29.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students up to 15-years in age.
Dessert will be served at 6:30 p.m., with the show beginning at 7:30.

Bald Eagle Day
Duke Energy will conduct its 16th Bald Eagle Viewing Day Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at its Cayuga electric power plant along the Wabash River just north of Terre Haute.
The event is free and open to the public and will take place from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Reservations are not necessary.
First Meeting Of New Year
The Harmony Town Council will conduct a meeting at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 1.
The regular meeting will take place in conjunction with the intent to inform the public of pursuing a grant to help erect a tornado siren at the community center.

Indoor Yard Sale
Lady Knights of Annunciation Church are having an Indoor Yard Sale at Kennedy's Crossing Bingo Hall, Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m., to benefit church and community service projects.
Breakfast and lunch will be available. Tables are $10 each for vendors.

The fourth Bingo for Baskets Fundraiser will take place Friday, Feb. 25, at Cloverdale Middle School.
