The Rotary Club of Brazil recently inducted a new member at a recent lunch meeting, which took place at the Elks Lodge. Newly inducted was Walter Moore (left), who received a new member red name badge from his sponsor, Club Secretary Mary Jo Alumbaugh (right). Through a five-star membership plan, new members in the Rotary of Brazil advance faster to a permanent blue name badge, usually not presented until their one-year anniversary, by completing service tasks or attending public community meetings and Rotary meetings. Not pictured is Richard Dierdorf, a new member inducted July 2010, who advanced to a permanent blue badge for service and participation the past few months.
