Jackie Lee Petroff, 74, Center Point, died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, at St. Vincent Seton Hospital, Indianapolis.
He was born Nov. 15, 1936, in Terre Haute, as the son of Nicholas and Teresa Bernice Cone.
He graduated from Brazil High School.
He worked as a sheet metal fabricator in the HVAC business until his retirement.
He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, where he served as Vice Commander; Loyal Order of the Moose; V.F.W., and the Fraternity of Eagles.
He attended the Prairie City United Methodist Church.
He was married to Donna Cates Petroff, who survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Mary Poole, Maxine Bowman, Helen Aldridge, Betty Clinkenbeard, Josephine Shaw, and Irene Gorham, and brothers Joe and Harold Petroff.
He is survived by his wife Donna, son Thomas Sullivan, daughters Amy Griffith and Lynn, stepchildren Jean Bowling, James R. Singer II, Jay Singer, and Jeff Singer, several grandchildren, step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be noon-2 p.m., Monday, Jan. 24, at Moore Funeral Home, with funeral services to be conducted at 2 p.m.
Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery.
