Monday, January 24, 2011

On Monday, Clay County Sheriff Mike Heaton confirmed to The Brazil Times a school bus was involved in an accident near Bowling Green.

Heaton said the accident took place at approximately 7:46 a.m.

He said the school bus collided with a passenger vehicle.

No children were injured as a result of the accident. However, Heaton said the driver of the passenger vehicle complained of injuries and may have suffered a broken foot.

Heaton said officials were still at the site of the accident and more details would be available as soon as possible.

May have had something to do with the slick conditions. I saw 3 vehicles in the median on I-70 on the way to work this morning. It was slicker than it looked .. that's for sure!

Glad no one was seriously injured.
