STAUNTON FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH NEWS
Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m., with worship service following at 10:30.
Doug Parkey is the minister. If you need transportation to morning worship service, phone the church office at 446-3211. The bus is wheelchair equipped.
Children's Church and Wee Worship meet at 10:30 a.m., in the Educational Building. There will be no Sunday evening service this week. Wednesday evening Bible Study and Prayer Group meet at 7 p.m.
Following worship service this Sunday, lunch will be served in the church basement. Soup, sandwiches and dessert will be provided. A freewill offering will be taken to be used for the building fund.
STAUNTON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH NEWS

Happy birthday to Kerry Scamihorn on Feb. 1, and to Mark Ave on Feb. 2.
We will be going to serve dinner at the Lighthouse Mission in Terre Haute Sunday, Feb. 6. Anyone interested in going should meet at the church at 3 p.m. Dinner at the Mission begins at 5.
Remember that the Community Food Pantry is open in the church's basement from 3-5 p.m., on the last Wednesday afternoon of each month. The next Food Pantry day will be Wednesday, Feb. 23. Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome. We appreciate the support of all the churches, schools, civic organizations and individuals who help make this needed outreach a success.
Please keep praying for everyone who is battling illness as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families. Also remember in prayer all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals, and those who have lost loved ones. Go out of your way to be kind to someone and pray for everyone.
