Reno P. Casassa, 84, Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011, at Riverview Hospital, Noblesville.

He was born on Aug. 22, 1926, to James and Minnie Casassa in Universal, Ind.

Reno was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Army. He was a lifelong carpenter and was a member of the carpenter's union.

He is survived by one son William (Diana) Casassa, Hilliard, Ohio, six granddaughters Dana Hartmann, Katie Casassa, Keri Stroemer, Erienne Scarbury, Shanna Haley and Jamie Carey, two grandsons Mitchell Casassa and Jeff Stevens, and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Muriel L. Casassa and a daughter Carol L. Jackson.

Services will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 4, 2011, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, Noblesville, with Rev. Stanley R. Sutton officiating. Visitation will be Friday, prior to the service, from 4-7 p.m., at the funeral home. Entombment will be Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, at 11 a.m., at Roselawn Memorial Cemetery, Terre Haute.
