TERRE HAUTE -- White Violet Center for Eco-Justice, a ministry of the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, will host an information meeting about participating in the center's Community Supported Agriculture experience.
The meeting is set for 6-7 p.m., Tuesday, at the Vigo County Public Library (meeting room A).
White Violet Center plans to have 40 shares available for the 2011 growing season. The local food program will have two weekly pickup sites, one at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods and one at 113 S. 19th St., Terre Haute.
Participants will get a basket full of farm fresh organically grown foods from late May through the end of the growing season, usually September.
