GREENCASTLE -- The North Clay sixth-grade girls' basketball team hit the road for another victory on Thursday night, scoring a 22-13 win in the 'A' game against Greencastle.

North Clay shutout the Tiger Cubs in the second quarter to pull out to an 11-2 lead at halftime.

Abby Conrad led the team with eight points followed by seven points from Megan Sampson and three from Stacy Payton. Carleigh Shrader added two points along with Allison Herrick.

In the 'B' game, North Clay pitched a shutout over the entire first half while building a 12-0 advantage on the way to an 18-12 win.

Kenzie Stearley dominated with 14 points and both Indya Trahan and Mackenzie Stewart had two points.

The Knights are back in action on Tuesday in the team's final home game against South Putnam at 6 p.m.
