Sad to see 'Mayor of Harmony' pass

To the Editor:

Harmony was very saddened with the death of our friend, Joy Green.

I have lived across from her for 60 years.

She taught me in Sunday school, my son in kindergarten and baby-sat my daughter.

She is someone I've known my whole life and she was like the "Mayor of Harmony."

We all feel like we have lost the "Mayor of Harmony."

I saw her at the nursing home (recently) and she was very ill. When I went to church, I put on the prayer list for a, "painless passage to heaven," because I know she'll make it.
