The following is a list of upcoming events provided to The Brazil Times:

Food Orders

Angel Food Ministry will be available for food orders Thursday, from 4:30-6 p.m., at Eastside Christian Church.

Meeting Set

The American Legion Post 2 will conduct a meeting Thursday, at 7 p.m., at the V.F.W. Post 1127.

'Once Upon A Mattress'

The Community Theatre of Clay County's next performance, "Once Upon A Mattress," has been scheduled for Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

The musical is based on the story of "The Princess and The Pea," written by Hans Christian Andersen.

Single dinner theatre tickets cost $25, which includes a buffet dinner and show. Tickets may be purchased by calling 442-6909.

Reservations are required for all performances.

Fish Fry!

The Knights of Columbus will conduct a Fish Fry Friday at the Annunciation Parish Center in Brazil.

Serving will take place from 4-7:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend.

Dance! Dance!

The YMCA of Clay County, 225 E. Kruzan St., Brazil, will conduct a Youth Dance Friday.

The dance is open to sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders.

Students should bring their school identification or other document showing their grade.

The dance will begin at 8 p.m., and end at 10:30. Cost is $5.

There will be concessions available for purchase in the Community Room.

The Reelsville Volunteer Fire Department will conduct its monthly breakfast Saturday, from 7-11 a.m.

The menu will consist of biscuits, gravy, pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage.


House of Hope, a Division of Mission Teens, Inc., will host an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast Saturday.

The event will take place at the YMCA of Clay County, 225 E. Kruzan St., Brazil, and will run from 8 a.m.-noon.

A $5 donation will cover each person served.

All proceeds will go toward expenses associated with building renovations.
