Born Michael Eugene Bell in Anderson, Ind., on May 29, 1974, he came home to Brazil with his parents Ken and Brenda Whitesell May 21, 1975.
Ryan loved animals and hiking.
He had a firm hope for the future of the earth according to the Lord's Prayer that of God's will being done on the earth as it is in heaven.
He knew death to be an enemy, 1 Corthinians 15:28, and he fought well.
He longed for a time when "no one will say I am sick," Isaiah 33:24.
Ryan is survived by his parents, his grandmother Thelma Jones Schepper, brothers John (Joany), Todd (Maidy), Brad, and Cody, sisters Dedra Bidlack (Michael), and Anola Gallion (Michael), nephew Matthew Whitesell and niece Jillian Whitesell and a large extended family.
Memorial services will be at 1:15 p.m., Tuesday, March 15, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2731 W. United States 40.
