TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Indiana State Sycamores are returning to NCAA Tournament for the first time since the 2001 season and will take on Syracuse in the second round on Friday, March 18. ISU is a No. 14 seed while Syracuse is a No. 3.
Tip-off time and broadcast information will be announced this week.
Tickets to the tournament are still available to season ticket holders through 2 p.m. (ET) tomorrow. Additionally ticket information will be made available tomorrow as well.
ISU was a No. 13 seed in the 2001 NCAA Tournament and upset No. 4 Oklahoma that season before falling to No. 12 Gonzaga for the right to go the Sweet 16.
ISU is 5-3 all-time in NCAA Tournament contests, reaching the National Championship contest in 1979 before falling to Michigan State. The Sycamores are making their fourth all-time appearance in the Big Dance.
