Thursday, March 17, 2011

TERRE HAUTE -- The Wabash Valley Genealogy Society has several programs, events and workshops planned this spring.

One of the most popular events scheduled is the "Beginning Genealogy Class," which consists of four sessions, meeting each Wednesday, beginning March 30 and continuing April 6, 13, and 20, from 6-8 p.m., in the Vigo County Public Library (VCPL).

Many topics will be covered, including how to fill out genealogy charts, how to record and organize files, where to find information and how to search online and in repositories.
