No gravel is necessary
To the Editor:
Please stop putting gravel on our streets.
I know this is supposed to be some kind of chip and seal, but when you do it with the current cold temperatures, it does not stick.
Come to Colony Acres and see what a waste of time and money it was when you did it in late October. Most of the gravel is in everyone's yard where the snow plow pushed it or is off to the edge of the street because it never was warm enough to seal.
Look at Murphy Avenue and Jackson Street. It's not sticking either. It has to be warm enough to stick to the streets.
