Staunton First Christian Church

Sunday school begins at 9:30 a.m., with worship service following at 10:30.

Doug Parkey is the minister.

If you need transportation to morning worship service, please phone the church office at 446-3211.

The bus is wheelchair equipped.

Children's church and Wee Worship meet at 10:30 a.m., in the Educational Building.

Sunday evening service starts at 6 p.m.

There will be no regular Wednesday evening Bible Study and Prayer Group as small groups will have their final study sessions next week on the topic, "Not a Fan, but a Follower."

The Elders will meet at 6 p.m., Monday, followed by the regular meeting of the Church Board at 7.

The Christian Fellowship Club will meet for lunch at Pizza Hut in Brazil, at 11 a.m., Wednesday.

Staunton United Methodist Church

Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m., with church service following at 10:30. Scott Aselage is our pastor and Glenna Simons is our pianist.

Happy Birthday to my wonderful grandson Daniel on April 14, and to Lisa Pine on April 15.

Also, happy belated birthday to Zeb Scamihorn, who celebrated his 12th birthday on March 19.

Remember that the Community Food Pantry is open in the church's basement from 3-5 p.m., on the last Wednesday afternoon of each month.

The next Food Pantry day will be Wednesday, April 27. Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome.

We appreciate the support of all the churches, schools, civic organizations and individuals who help make this needed outreach a success.

Please keep praying for everyone who is battling illness, as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families.

Also remember in prayer all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals and those who have lost loved ones.

Go out of your way to be kind to someone and pray for everyone.
