Knights' JV falls to Cougars

Northview's 'B' baseball team fell to visiting Bloomington North by a 9-1 score on Tuesday evening.

The Cougars scored in all seven innings to pick up the victory. Brock Smith allowed three runs and five hits over 2 1/3 innings on the mound. Tanner Wilson gave up five hits and five runs in 2 2/3 innings of work while striking out three and Kyle Moore finished the contest by allowing a run and three hits over two innings with three strikeouts.

The Knights were led at the plate by one hit each from Craig Peters, Bryan Pestoff (double), Bo Stewart, Trevor Hetrick, Conner Ganly and Stephen Watts, who had the lone RBI.

The Knights (1-1) are back in action as the second half of a varsity/JV doubleheader against Shakamak on Thursday at home.
