I am 44-years-old and I graduated from Northview High School in 1985.
I am ready to be a leader the citizens of Brazil can trust in.
I have three children, all of Brazil. Eric Vanatti, 2008 graduate of Indiana State University, and former Reserve Patrolman with the Brazil Police Department; Krista Vanatti, full-time college student; and Neil Vanatti, college student, freshmen football coach for Northview High School.
My personal belief is management is doing it right and leadership is getting it done right. My goal for the City of Brazil is to see a city that is thriving as a whole. We all want to live in a community that has hope, love and a future for generations to come. I want to set a positive tone for our city, and continue and further operations for the city. If elected mayor, I want to see that our budget and funds are distributed in a fair and honest manner. In doing that, we will build our community.
I want our City of Brazil to be a place where people want to be living and raising their families also a place that accepts diversity and stands firm in the belief that everyone is born equal.
As mayor, I would like to meet periodically with citizens to learn everyone's concerns so that we as leaders can achieve your goals and expectations that you have.
We all want to see our city thrive. I pray that God will have his hand on the leaders and City of Brazil.
We are all working toward a similar goal and that is the American dream. We as Americans are as Thomas Jefferson stated in the Declaration of Independence are all looking for: Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
The city is alive and we should build upon our traditions and move forward toward our goals.
