Use Caution

The City of Brazil is requesting residents to be cautious driving in the areas of East Olive, North Davis, East Lenox and North Vandalia streets through Friday, as current water line and drainage work is ongoing in preparation for upcoming road paving.

Roundup

Clay Community Elementary Schools will host Kindergarten Roundups through the month of April.

Below is a list of school registrations by day and time:

* Meridian Elementary -- Tuesday, 6:30 p.m., and

* Staunton Elementary -- Wednesday, 9 a.m.

Dine to Donate

Enjoy a meal that's filing and fulfilling, while supporting the upcoming 2011 Clay County American Cancer Society's Relay For Life event.

On Tuesday, Applebee's Restaurant, Terre Haute, will be accepting Dining to Donate flyers 11 a.m.-Midnight on behalf of the "Clay Flyers" Relay For Life team.

The flyers, which are available from team members, will allow 15 percent of the bill to be donated to team's fundraising efforts.

The Clay Flyers team members also have vouchers available for the Brazil Pizza Hut. The fundraising vouchers are good every Friday and Saturday through May 28.

Meeting Set

The Clay County Democrats will conduct their monthly meeting Tuesday, at 7 p.m., at Sister's Antiques.
