Easter Egg Hunts

The following is a list of upcoming Easter Egg Hunts in Clay County as provided to The Brazil Times:

* The Northview High School Key Club will conduct an Easter Egg Hunt for the children in the Family Literacy Program Monday, at 5:30 p.m.

The event will take place at the Linking Education to Adults, Adolescents and Preschoolers (LEAAP) Center, 501 E. Jackson St., Brazil.

* The community is invited to an Easter Egg Hunt at Forest Park Saturday, April 23, sponsored by First Christian Church of Brazil.

Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., at the cow palace with the egg hunt beginning at 10 a.m.

There will be separate areas for children ages 0-12, as well as prize baskets for the children to win.

There will also be free Children's Bibles for all elementary school children (while they last).

* Brazil Nazarene Church, 1002 E. National Ave., Brazil, will conduct "Passport to Kidz Missions" South and Central America and an Easter Egg Hunt, Saturday, April 23.

The event is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m., and is for children ages preschool to 11.

Snacks, entertainment, treats and prizes will be available.

* The American Legion Post 2 will conduct its annual Easter Egg Hunt Sunday, April 24, at 2 p.m., at Forest Park. The event will be moved to the Brazil National Guard Armory if it rains.
