In the second game, Edgewood got to starting pitcher, Conner Pierce for a four-spot in the first inning, but a lead-off home run by Newton in the bottom half of the frame got the Knights started and a five-run second inning helped Northview to a 10-7 victory.

Newton had a big game at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a double and three RBI besides the home run. He was joined by Wallace, who was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Stewart had a double and was 3-for-3 with a walk and an RBI. Butts and Whitson each had two hits apiece and Moore drove in two runs on sacrifices.
