Knights place third at Rea Park

TERRE HAUTE -- Soggy conditions were the norm at Rea Park Golf Course on Monday night as Northview played a triangular match against Terre Haute South and Linton.

The Miners stayed unbeaten on the season at 9-0 in regular matches, tallying a team score of 156 to edge the Braves' score of 161. Northview was third at 189.

The Knights got a score of 44 from Larry Knight, but it wasn't enough as Linton had a pair of sophomores lead the way. Cole Bradbury was the top golfer with an even-par 36 followed by Clayton French, who shot a 38.

Cory Gertz led Terre Haute South with a 39. Northview also got a 46 from Jacob Musgrave, a 47 from Brad Smith, Dylan Nesty cardd a 52, Austen Bowen had a 53 and Drew Atkinson shot a 57.

The Knights travel to South Vermillion on Thursday.
