Annual Brazil Times' Fun Fair set for Saturday

The Brazil Times, in conjunction with the Brazil Elks Club and Riddell National Bank, will conduct its annual Fun Fair Saturday.

The event will run from 1-5 p.m., and will take place on Sherfey Street between Riddell National Bank and the Elks Club.

Several games for children will be available, including ring toss (from Walgreens), a duck pond, corn hole, Hillbilly Golf, face painting, and more.

Prizes will be available.

In addition, a 50-50 drawing will take place and the American Cancer Society Book Store will be on hand.

The Northview High School Key Club and SADD Club will offer sand art and tattoos and the Elks Club will offer its Drug Awareness Trailer.

Ice Cream will be available courtesy of Riddell National Bank and Wyndham Bros. Auction will offer kettle corn.

Wyndham Bros. Auction will also conduct a live auction, featuring the following items: Hot stone massages from Crossroads Studio, gift bag from Stacy Dickison (Tastefully Simple), gift bag from Sandy's Good Books, gifts from Pam Wools (Tastefully Simple), tire rotation and balance from Bedwell Tires, gifts from Cheri Lewzader (Pampered Chef), gifts from Naomi Lawson (Mary Kay), pool party from Fun Time Scuba, manicure from US Nails, movie passes to the Walnut Theater, gift certificate from Pizza Hut, $30 gift certificate from the Outpost, gift bag from the Candle Shack, gifts from Sisters Antiques, gifts from Clay City Pottery, Yankee Candle from Old Fashioned Jewelry, passes from Community Theatre, gifts from the Popcorn Festival of Clay County, gifts from Sentsy, gifts from Carrie Somheil (Chartreuse), gifts from Aerial Arts Fireworks, Willow Tree Angel from Sugar 'N Spice Florist, and a $25 gift certificate from Sugar 'N Spice Florist, two 18 holes of golf certificates from Oak Ridge Golf Course, car wash from G. Long's Auto Exchange, Beef and Boards "Kensey Kunkle" tickets from Crossroads Communications, two rounds of golf from Forest Park Golf Course, gift certificate from Kroger, and more.

DJ Jimmy from Expressions Mobile will provide music and Walgreens and Pepsi have teamed together and will provide free soft drinks throughout the event.

In addition, local celebrities, including Mayor Ann Bradshaw, Judge Blaine Akers, Northview High School teacher Dianna Knox, and several Brazil Times' employees will be on hand for attendees to toss water balloons at.
