On Tuesday, Area 7 Agency on Aging and Disabled will have Bingo at the Clay County Senior Citizen's Center, 120 S. Franklin St., Brazil, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
In addition, a Low Income Subsidy Program for those on Medicare who may be eligible for assistance with premiums and prescription drug costs will be offered. A pharmacist from St. Vincent Clay Hospital will be on hand to discuss how medications interact with each other, over-the-counter drugs, food and supplements/vitamins, when to take medications and how to store them.
Those interested in attending are encouraged to bring medications, pain relievers, supplements, etc., in their original containers and talk one-on-one with the pharmacist. Anyone who is on Medicare or age 50-over is eligible to attend. Bingo prizes will be gift cards to local merchants.
Refreshments will be available. The event is free to the public.
