He was born June 26, 1934, to Roy and Viola (Brown) Urbain.
Delbert was a long time truck driver and musician, playing at many bars in the areas and on WSDM radio.
He enjoyed racing, camping, fishing and watching western movies. He especially enjoyed playing the guitar and dobro. He was a long time resident of Bridgeton and Brazil.
He is survived by his companion of 35 years Ruth Urbain and children Kathy (Chester) Crague, Rosedale, Troy (Lori) Urbain, St. Bernice, and Melissa Urbain, Greencastle, and Brian (Doris) Smith, Seelyville, grandchildren Chad Crague, Courtney Crague, Jordan Urbain, Jacki (Tike) Wilson, Jami (Keith) Morris, and Bobby Coffey Jr., and three great-grandchildren, and siblings Alberta Brower, Hazel Moore, Ella Mary Smith and Gary Urbain.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Evelyn Naughgles, James Urbain, Betty Vogel, Levin Urbain, Roy Urbain Jr., and Effie Brower.
Services will be at Lawson-Miller Chapel Thursday, May 12, 2011, at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Clear Run Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday, from 4-8 p.m.
