Staunton First Christian Church

Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m., with worship service following at 10:30. Doug Parkey is the minister.

If you need transportation to morning worship service, please phone the church office at 446-3211.

The bus is wheel-chair equipped.

Children's Church and Wee Worship meet at 10:30 in the Educational Building.

There will be no Sunday evening service this week. Wednesday evening Bible Study and Prayer Group meets at 7 p.m., in the educational wing.

The Elders will meet at 6:00 p.m. on Monday May 9, followed by the monthly meeting of the church board at 7.

The Christian Fellowship Club will meet for lunch at Pizza Hut in Brazil on Wednesday May 11 at 11:30 a.m.

The annual Ladies' Tea will be this Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m.

If you want to go to Golden Corral for lunch on Monday May 16, please meet at the church by 11:00.

The church is planning to have a yard sale on Saturday May 21.

All proceeds will go to the building fund.

Staunton United Methodist Church

Sunday School is at 9:30 with Church Service following at 10:30. Scott Aselage is our Pastor and Glenna Simons is our pianist.

Remember that the Community Food Pantry is open in the church's basement from 3:00 to 5:00 on the last Wednesday afternoon of each month. The next Food Pantry day will be Wednesday May 25. Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome. We appreciate the support of all the churches, schools, civic organizations, and individuals who help make this needed outreach a success.

Please keep praying for everyone who is battling illness, as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families.

Also remember in prayer all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals, and those who have lost loved ones. Go out of your way to be kind to someone, and pray for everyone.
