The following is a list of upcoming area events scheduled to take place today, Sunday and Monday as provided to The Brazil Times:
The Reelsville Volunteer Fire Department will conduct its monthly breakfast Saturday, from 7-11 a.m.
The menu will consist of biscuits, gravy, pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage.
Students from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology will be the featured guests at the Clay County Breakfast Optimist Club meeting Saturday.
The meeting will begin at 8 a.m., and will take place at Sisters Coffee Bar, 123 E. National Ave., Brazil.
The students will present recent engineering projects accomplished throughout the school year.
All are invited to attend the meeting.
The first Frontier Communications Golf Scramble will take place Saturday, at the Forest Park Golf Course.
Entry fee is $65 per person. Lunch will take place at noon and tee time is set for 1 p.m.
The event has been set up as a fundraiser for the Clay County Youth League.

House of Hope, a Division of Mission Teens, Inc., will host its Giant Yard Sale Saturday.
Platters will be served from noon-6 p.m. The platters will include hamburger, hot dogs and two sides. A $5 donation will cover each person served.

The Clay County Humane Society will conduct a pet shot clinic from 1-4 p.m., Saturday, at the Forest Park Pavilion.
All shots are $10 each.

Corn Hole Tournament
The Seelyville Volunteer Fire Department will conduct a Corn Hole Tournament fundraiser Sunday.
Registration will begin at 1 p.m.
Cost is $10 per person. The fire department is located at 2277 N. Main St., Seelyville.
All proceeds will go to the Hoosier Burn Camp.
Clay Community Schools will conduct open houses at the six renovated elementary school buildings Sunday.
There will be an opening session at Northview High School in the school auditorium at 1 p.m.
Following the session and continuing until 3:30 p.m., patrons will be allowed to tour the following renovated elementaries: Clay City, East Side, Forest Park, Meridian, Staunton and Van Buren.
