She was born Aug. 4, 1929, in Posey Township, Clay County, Ind., as the daughter of William Earl and Esther McCullough Butt.
Following graduation from high school, she married Ermel Richard Fagg, who preceded her in death Feb. 16, 2000.
She had been employed for several years at the Quaker Maid Company. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughter Barbara Ann Fagg, brother Vaughn Butt, brothers-in-law Denny Dardeen, Harold Stringer and Ronald L. Fagg.
She is survived by son Larry Ermel Fagg Anders and wife Leila, grandchildren Eric Anders and wife Becky, and Leigh-Ann Stripling and husband Morgan, great-grandchildren Halee Stripling, Sam Anders, Will Anders, Eva Stripling, Nate Anders, Isaiah Stripling, and Jonathan Stripling, sisters Johanna Dardeen, sisters-in-law Doris Butt, Marie Stringer, Martha Hoard, and Carol Fagg, and brothers-in-law Bud Hoard and Robert Fagg, and other extended family.
Visitation will be 10-11:30 a.m., Indiana Time, Saturday, May 28, at Moore Funeral Home, 142 N. Washington St., Brazil, Ind., 47834. Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Riley, Ind.
