The show will be set up in the R.E.I.N. Center Community Library, 700 Main St., just south of the Ford Agency. Show hours are 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday, and 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Sunday.
The show will open before other festival activities Friday, June 10, from 6-8:30 p.m.
Admission is $2.
This year, because Main Street (State Road 59) is under reconstruction, it might be necessary to enter the library through the rear door, rather than the front door. Presently, it is still possible to make entry through the front door, with no steps.
All quilts displayed are new to the show with the exception of the 2010 Viewer's Choice quilts, which are shown again when they are available.
Bed quilts will be displayed in full view as well as wall quilts, baby quilts and various quilted items. Quilts, made as a club project, or the Council on Domestic Abuse, will be shown and later presented to CODA. Challenge quilts designed by members will also make up another exhibit.
Two coordinating fabrics are given to participating members, who may add extra fabric of their choice to create a wide variety of small quilts.
The "Challenge Quilts" showcase the imagination and creativity of club members.
There will be a door prize drawing as well as instant winners. The door prizes, many of which are handmade, are provided by individual members.
Clay City Calico Quilters invite all to visit the show.
