TERRE HAUTE -- The United Way of the Wabash Valley will host a Community Partner Tour visit to three United Way Community Partners Thursday, June 9, from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
The tour departs from Corporate Square at 9 a.m. Campaign Cabinet, Board of Directors and Pilot Companies will tour the community partners to get a firsthand look at their services.
The tour will begin with a visit to United Cerebral Palsy, which promotes the general welfare and provides services to those with cerebral palsy and other conditions. The community partner director is Susie Thompson, who may be reached at 812-232-6305.
CHANCES for Indiana Youth is the second community partner on the tour. CHANCES is dedicated to substance abuse prevention and positive youth development throughout the state. Brandon Halleck is the community partner and may be reached at 812-232-5190.
The last stop of the tour is the Wabash Valley Senior Citizen's Center, whose mission is to provide social, recreational and educational services for those 50-over. Josie Blake, Executive Director, may be reached at 812-244-0645.
